TRIO FOR TINY TOTS is a very simple sweater and is a good basic staple garment for any child. You have several variations to choose from, as it can be knit in stockinette stitch (model 1), in stockinette stitch with stripes (model 2), or in a simple pattern of knit and purl stitches (model 3). The sweater is knit in the round from the bottom up. The sleeves are knit in the round on dpns, before being joined to the sweater at the beginning of the yoke. As the stitch pattern on model 3 is slightly elastic, it is recommended to knit a small swatch, wash it and let it dry flat to figure out the row gauge.
